Campus & Community

Below are some of our campus and community partners that support us and help make UNITY a premiere program through a variety of annual partnerships, resource referrals, and student support services.

The Gender Equity Resource Center, fondly referred to as GenEq, is a UC Berkeley campus community center committed to fostering an inclusive Cal experience for all. GenEq is a campus location where students, faculty, staff and alumni connect for resources, services, education and leadership programs related to gender and sexuality.

A leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality, UHS clinicians are committed to ensuring that LQBTQ students receive the highest quality medical care in a safe, respectful space. Students can use the medical services at the Tang Center just as they would their regular doctor's office and urgent care center.

The Queer Alliance and Resource Center is in charge of providing social, educational, and safe sex programming for the queer community on campus, and also acts as an umbrella organization for all active queer communities on campus.

The Residence Hall Assembly (RHA) of the University of California, Berkeley is the student-run government body in the residence halls, structured around the importance of providing student representation in the decisions that affect residents and their community. Representing over 7,200 students in Berkeley’s residential community, the assembly is an important link to the Berkeley community and campus.

The National Residence Hall Honorary is a premiere student leadership organization focused on promoting recognition and philanthropy within the residence halls. At UC Berkeley, the NRHH Golden Bear Chapter is passionate about being actively engaged within the residential and local communities. We are comprised of exemplary student residential leaders who seek to appreciate the unseen and unspoken dedication in the residence halls. We seek to engage with and give back to the community that we are lucky to call home during our time at Cal. Our organization is unique in that it fosters leadership development for returning residents and creates an opportunity for growth and participation in the residential community.

The Associated Students of the University of California (ASUC), is the officially recognized student association at the University of California, Berkeley. Known as one of the largest and most autonomous student organizations in the nation, the ASUC is an independent 501(c)3 non profit organization separate from University governance. In addition to controlling funding for student clubs and organizations, providing resources and student programming, overseeing commercial activities and student services including the Cal Student Store and Lower Sproul Plaza in partnership with the ASUC Student Union, the ASUC advocates for students on a University, local, state, and national level and represents the student body on administrative campus committees.

Pacific Center for Human Growth fosters and enhances the well-being and self respect of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer youth, seniors, and adults through the delivery of LGBTQ competent mental health and wellness services, and through the cultivation of a strong community of LGBTQ-proficient mental health care professionals.
